Parents - Canteen

Welcome to the Pinjarra Primary School Canteen. The canteen is wholly owned and operated by our school P & C Association. We currently provide recess and lunch items including drinks, ice-creams and healthy snacks.

The Canteen is open every day of the week. Orders can either be placed online before 10am using our online ordering system Spriggy Schools - Reliable Online Canteen Ordering, in person at the canteen from 8:30am - EFTPOS and cash accepted or alternatively a lunch bag should be placed securely in the classroom canteen box before the start of the school day.

Menu
If there are any changes parents will be notified by the Connect, SchoolStar app and Facebook.

Both our Winter and Summer menus meet all requirements as set out by the Traffic Light System. We have also endeavoured to make our menu as “Nut Aware” as possible.

The Traffic Light system is a mandatory Department of Education and Training initiative to help reduce childhood obesity rates in Western Australia. If you look at our menu you will see that we currently have approximately 84% green items.

Assisting the Canteen
The canteen relies heavily on the help of volunteers to keep the canteen running and to keep costs to a minimum. If you can spare half a day (8.30am til 2pm) any day during the week, please contact the Canteen Manager Kim. All assistance, long or short-term, is greatly appreciated.
